Our Honeymoon in Pictures (overload)

We had the best time of our moon of honey in Galveston, Tx. I can't wait to go back one day to relive all the memories again.

February.

In my humble opinion, February is the best month of the entire year. J and I went on our first date this month, Valentine's day is the 14th, and it's short and sweet and to the point. Perfect month. I am already super giddy about Valentines day. I've always loved Valentines Day, even when my sweet mom was my only Valentine. My mom always got me flowers and specials gifts to show her love on the 14th. To me, the month of February is a time to remember how much love you have for everyone in your life. Friends, family, and significant others.

I already have a few things planned for J and I for Valentines day. Well, actually I have the 13th (the anniversary of our first date) and he has the 14th. I've started to make a few homemade cards and brainstorm a few ideas. J requested a homemade meal (he's tired of restaurant food) so I need to search the recipe books/pinterest for some new ideas. I've ordered him a special gift, but I won't document it until after I actually give it to him. I'm also working on a few things for my friends and family. They deserve so much love!! My house has also been shown some good ole' lovin. I can't wait to add even more lovey dovey touches.

So thank you February for making me positively happy.

Whose got it better than us?? No one.

We were really excited for the Super bowl this year. Mainly due to the fact that J's favorite team, the 49ers, made it to the big game. J insisted on TONS of food, so we decided to invite some people over to help eat it. We invited the Chandler's and the Long's (cousin's family). I am kicking myself now for not getting a group picture of everyone. I think my favorite house guest had to be little Ryker. He celebrated the game by eating tons of cookies, watching cartoons on his mom's phone, and exploring. I love him to pieces.

Josh experienced an array of emotions during the game. He chanted, talked to the TV, jumped up from his seat with emotion, and covered his face with his hat when the 49ers lost. I love being a 49ers family with J.

We'll get em next year boys!!!

Holes in the Wall

So we have finally moved into our new townhouse. It feels like home. We have been decorating and trying to organize everything in our spare time. On Saturday, (2/2/13) we decided that we would start trying to hang some things on the wall. J asked me to wait for him to hang them because at our last place I murdered the walls with holes. The past tenants left a few holes; therefore, we decided to just use some of those spots to hang things. The first nail went in with no problem. The second nail...hit something hard. J removed the nail and water started coming out of it. My first thought was that we had a secret water stash behind our wall. Turns out we hit a pipe!! So we called our landlord and her plumber husband came to the rescue. We watched as he used a saw to cut a HUGE hole in our wall. I wanted to cry. J just sat there laughing. He was trying so hard not to laugh that it made me crack up as well. That's why I married the guy.

After the hole incident, we decided to go to our favorite park. We seem to always make it to our park one hour before it closes. J and I usually spend our time walking the trails or exploring. This time we found out that the park has a dog park. A dog's dream of a place. It made my dog hunger come back. (desire to own a dog...not eat one). Overall, my Saturday with J was quit the adventure.
